The UBC Women In Science Club is hosting a lunch-time speaker series throughout the year! The first lunch-time talk on Thursday, Oct. 23 will feature the career path and experiences of Dr. Cheryl Wellington, a UBC Pathology & Laboratory Medicine professor and researcher at the Centre for Molecular Medicine & Therapeutics. After completing her Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Microbiology at the University of Alberta, she moved to Vancouver for graduate studies in Microbiology at UBC. Her journey through her studies to her current research in pathology and neuroscience is sure to keep us in our seats! Please join us for this inspiring talk. We look forward to seeing you!
